Professor Dato' Dr. Aznan Hasan is a globally recognized Shariah scholar and one of the foremost authorities in Islamic finance. He currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Shariah Advisory Council at the Securities Commission Malaysia, and is a Member of the Shariah Board of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) in Bahrain – the world’s top standard-setting body for Islamic finance. Additionally, he is a Member of the Higher Shariah Authority at the Central Bank of the UAE, shaping national-level Islamic finance regulations.
